In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, peanut butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, and mashed bananas. Add the dry ingredients to the wet components and whisk just until incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.

If placing chocolate chips on top before baking, use parchment paper overhang in the loaf pan for easier removal.

If the top of the bread browns too soon, loosely cover with aluminum foil.

Store covered in plastic wrap or a ziplock bag on the counter for up to 4 days.

To thaw, remove from the freezer bag and let it rest on the counter for several hours or overnight.
