Ingredients:

For the Cookies:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Crème Brûlée Topping:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar (for caramelizing)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Prepare the Cookies:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Shape and Bake:

Roll the dough into 1.5-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Using the back of a spoon, create a small indentation in the center of each dough ball.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
