Cheesy Crock Pot Mostaccioli

A comforting, cheesy pasta dish that’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor. Perfect for a family dinner!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups uncooked mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Cook the Beef

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat.

2. Sauté Vegetables

  • Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced bell pepper to the beef. Sauté until vegetables are softened.

3. Assemble in Crock Pot

  • Transfer the beef and veggie mixture to a crock pot.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

4. Slow Cook

  • Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours.

5. Add Pasta

  • After 4 hours, stir in the uncooked mostaccioli pasta, ensuring it’s fully coated in sauce.

6. Add Cheese

  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over the top. Cover and cook for another hour, until the pasta is al dente and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve

  • Serve hot and enjoy every cheesy, saucy bite!
